Johanna Günther is a program manager at Land.Zuhause.Zukunft and a member of the Migration Policy Research Group at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Hildesheim. She is also a PhD candidate in political sciences at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Before joining Land.Zuhause.Zukunft, Johanna Günther worked on issues concerning national and international migration policy, among others for the German Institute for Human Rights, the German Society for International Cooperation and for the Robert Bosch Stiftung. She was a researcher at Otto-Suhr-Institute at Freie University Berlin and a project assistant at the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) in Brussels. Johanna Günther earned a B.A. in cultural studies and political sciences from Leuphana University Lüneburg, and a master’s degree in European studies from Freie University Berlin.
